First Merchant's Lakeshore Region's recent jeans day for Foodbank of Northwest Indiana was a huge success. The mission of the Foodbank is to alleviate hunger by acquiring and distributing food to people in need, promoting solutions that advance self-sufficiency and hunger relief, and leading our region in the fight against hunger.

As a result of First Merchant's Lakeshore Region's recent jeans day for Opportunity Enterprises, and a few very generous additional donations from team members, over $1,500 was raised to provide Opportunity Enterprises with a commercial washer and dryer for one of their respite homes.
