Today, First Merchants Bank celebrated the opening of Northland’s newest banking center. Located at 1925 Morse Road, the center is the bank’s eighth location in Columbus. The location was chosen because of the revitalization taking place in the neighborhood. First Merchants Bank leaders, community influencers, Columbus City Councilmember Emmanuel V. Remy and First Merchants Corporation board member Clark C. Kellogg were in attendance.

Robin Scott, First Merchants Banking Center Manager for the Northland Banking Center in Columbus, Ohio, and Scott McKee, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility with First Merchants, recently sat down with the Central Ohio African American Chamber of Commerce (COAACC) to discuss exactly that – as well as to promote the Northland Banking Center.

First Quarter Financial Results: First Merchants Corporation (the “Corporation) has reported first quarter 2022 net income of $48.6 million compared to $49.5 million during the same period in 2021. Earnings per share for the period totaled $.91 per share compared to the first quarter of 2021 result of $.91 per share.
