As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, rest assured First Merchants is working hard to balance the availability of physical banking center services while protecting the health and well-being of our clients and employees. Given the federal government's recommendations to promote social distancing, we are putting measures in place to minimize interactions in our banking centers.

Beginning Thursday, March 19, First Merchants will limit lobby services. We will continue to provide services through our drive thru for common transactions, including check and cash deposits, change orders, making payments, cash withdrawals, wires and more. For other requests, please call your location banking center and we will do our best to accommodate you. We continue the increased intensity and duration of our cleaning routines as well, with special focus on public surfaces.

Protect Yourself Against Fraud

During this time, First Merchants encourages all of our clients to remain vigilant against fraud. We will never make an unsolicited request for any confidential information from you via email or phone and we will never require that you update your account details on a Web page.
