For more than 20 years, Tonjola originated mortgage loans and worked with several organizations, community groups including: Operation Hope of NYC, 1000 Black Men of Long Island, Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration-Stabilizing Communities and the Federal Reserve Bank to coordinate and conduct a series of events to empower and educated the community.
